Welcome to a very special #PhilBMashups show as I take a (slightly self-indulgent) look back on my first ever radio broadcast from 30 years ago this week. (Yes I know, surely I can’t be that old?!!!!)
All the tracks I play on the show will be linked to the year 1995 and once I started my research, I was reminded how many incredible dance anthems classics come from that year, including Robert Miles – Children, Underworld – Born Slippy and Faithless – Insomnia.
As always there will be a mix of the commercial and the underground, definitely a few surprises, some hidden gems and perhaps one or two tracks that haven’t aged quite so well! I was also pleased to find one of my original jingles to include 🙂
